VGH Insurance, Hanover
More than just an expansion.
The three new office buildings of the Hanover VGH Insurance Group represent an architectural counterpoint in the centre of the VGH administration complex, which has evolved during the previous thirty years. Completed in the summer of 2009, the building complex offers space for around 500 employees.
The briefing from VGH for their office furniture was no off-the-shelf products, but individually tailored furnishing solutions which could be customised for the different work requirements and personal needs – this was consistently realised through custom-designed solutions from the planmöbel m-pur table and corpus-c storage space programme.
The importance of exercise and communication for the employees was also borne in mind – through a deliberately longer route to reach the photocopier, printer etc.
